Syrris Globe Reactor is designed for the preparation of the co-precipitated catalyst materials. After minor adjustments it is possible to use the equipment for other applications (equilibrium impregnating catalyst carriers, organic synthesis and reaction tests, etc.). The device is fully controlled by software (stirrer speed, liquids, gas dosing, pH, temperature in the reactor), which enables the creation and management of their recipes. The apparatus operates at atmospheric or reduced pressure, and precipitation is carried out in a reactor volume of 5 liters or optionally a smaller scale with reactors 1 and 2 liters. The reactor vessel is equipped with a stirrer and enables the heating / cooling in the temperature range -20 to 180 ° C. To the reactor, it is possible to dispense two liquid streams, the ratio is controlled pH and temperature. Coagulation can also be performed by the gas (CO2) into the bubbling precipitated solution, the dosage can be regulated or can perform standard clotting in an inert atmosphere (N2). The reactors are equipped with a bottom drain valve to allow draining the slurry to the vessel from which the suspension is subsequently pumped into a laboratory pressure filtration apparatus (filter press) where it is filtered and washed.
