Automatic Device for Determination of Oxidation Stability
The Petrotest PetroOXY is a microprocessor-controlled automatic device for rapid and reliable determination of oxidation stability (induction period) of commercially available fuels (gasoline, biodiesel and diesel/biodiesel mixture). It is a method for determining of their storage stability.
This fully automatic oxidation stability tester works according to ASTM D7525, ASTM D7545 and EN 16091.
The testing is fully automatic. The sample volume is 5 ml, the test duration is 1-2 hours, the maximum test temperature is 160 °C. The filling pressure of gasoline is only 500 kPa and for other tests (diesel, biodiesel) it is safe to use pressure up to 700 KPa.
