Ingo Sartorius

Dr. Ingo Sartorius is acting as Managing Director of PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V. in Frankfurt/Main since 2008. In this function, he is Head of the Business Unit "Consumer and Environmental Affairs". In 1996, he joined the "Verband Kunststofferzeugende Industrie e.V.” (now PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V.) as expert of the Business Unit "Plastics and Environment". He holds a doctorate in physical chemistry from the Technical University of Brunswick in Germany. PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V. operates within the pan-European network of PlasticsEurope in Brussels and from Frankfurt, PlasticsEurope is acting for the Central Region, to which belong Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland.

   
Kazimierz Borkowski

Kazimierz Borkowski

Dr. Kazimierz Borkowski has been since 2011 a managing director of PlasticsEurope Polska Foundation, Polish entity of PlasticsEurope, the leading pan-European Association of Plastics Producers.

During over 20 years of his professional career Dr. Borkowski was employed at different senior management positions, the most recent being Managing Director of Arkema sp. z o.o., Polish subsidiary of multinational chemicals and plastics group.

He has a technical background (PhD in chemistry from Warsaw Technical University) and management post-graduate education (joint program in Warsaw School of Economics and HEC Paris).

   
 Petr Zámostný

Petr Zámostný

Prof. Ing. Petr Zámostný, Ph.D.is a graduate of the former Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague (now University of Chemistry and Technology), where he currently works at the Faculty of Chemical Technology as a professor in the field of Organic Technology. Since 2014, he is Vice-Dean for Education at the Faculty of Chemical Technology. He is a member of the Board of the Czech Society of Industrial Chemistry, member of the Czech Society of Chemical Engineering and the Czech Chemical Society. His research activity is focused in areas of petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical engineering. In the petrochemical field, he focuses on experimental and theoretical studies of pyrolysis and cracking reactions and modeling of related production processes. He is the author or co-author of 67 publications listed in the Web of science database. He has worked intensively with the chemical and pharmaceutical industries since the start of his career - he has been an investigator of nearly 50 contract research projects.

   
 Lubomír Lukáč

Lubomír Lukáč

Ing. Lubomír Lukáč currently cooperates with advisory company Chemical Solutions on the projects for clients from chemical and petrochemical industry, mainly on technology, market development and commercial aspects.

Before he retired in 2016 he had worked for 39 years as process engineer, technical director, director for technologies, production director and business director for Chemické závody Sokolov, Eastman Chemical, Hexion and Unipetrol.

In course of his career he managed construction of the production units, development of technology know-how and building of application service, market development for new products, managed research and development. In course of his work for Unipetrol he was as well chairman of the board of Butadien Kralupy as well as chairman of the board of VUAnCh (currently UniCre).

ilac-mra In the center, as part of the Department of Analytical Chemistry, has a dedicated department - Testing Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry (no. 1153), accredited by the Czech Institute for Accreditation according to DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018. The lab is located at two facilities in Litvinov and Usti nad Labem.

Accreditation certificate No. 598/2021 is valid until 5th August 2025.

The subject tests are analyzes of wastewater, wastes and wastewater extracts, absorption solutions, soils and crude oil fractions in the range of the current annex to the accreditation certificate.

Mission and Goals

Unipetrol Centre for Research and Education, a.s. is an independent legal entity whose primary mission is to research activities and provide support to the chemical industry in areas which are defined in our research program.

The main goals of UniCRE include:

  • Obtaining grants at the national level for the individual research programs in the priority areas of research UniCRE.
  • Integration into European structures, promotion of science, research and development and win support for priority projects of individual research areas UniCRE.
  • Deepening cooperation with academic institutions such as The University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem, Pardubice University or The Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals of the Czech Academy of Science, v.v..
  • Active involvement in organizations supporting applied research and collaboration with industry, both within the region and at the national and European level.

UniCRE company offers to rent the conference rooms in Chempark Záluží and Ústí nad Labem locations. All rooms are equipped with the presentation equipment. Arrangement of tables and chairs in the individual rooms can be changed according to customer needs. We will arrange a flipchart or presenter on request.
